Where is your main operation based?
We are currently located out of Denver, CO. Our import and export operation has been in business for over 35 years. Originally we started as an out-of-the-basement organization but the demand for our world-class goods required us to expand into a warehouse.
How are you different than other meerschaum traders?
Our stock is directly imported from Turkey, cutting any middle-man costs. We ship rapidly all across America, sometimes taking only 3 to 4 days for a package to deliver. Our web site is carefully organized to allow you to find exactly what you are looking for. We sell only premium, high-quality meerschaum tobacco pipes and briars.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5. Depending on the season, we may increase our hours to include Saturday afternoons. If you would like to pick up an eBay auction or a web site order give us a call to arrange an appointment. We are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and News Years Day.
How quickly do you ship your orders?
We process all orders at 9 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) from the previous day, package the orders, and ship them out at approximately 2 p.m. (MST) via UPS Ground. If an order is placed in the afternoon, before 2 p.m. (MST), we may be able to fit the order in. Any orders made after our shipping deadline on Friday will ship the following Monday. Orders shipped via UPS Ground can take anywhere from 3 to 7 business days depending on the final destination.
How quickly do you ship international orders?
International orders are packaged at our warehouse and then shipped via USPS International. We typically send those out within two business days. International orders can take 7 - 14 days to fully clear customs and arrive at the final destination. Times may vary depending on where the package is being shipped.
Where do you obtain your tobacco pipes?
Our main area of import is Eskisehir, Turkey. Twice a year we visit the meerschaum capital to hand-select large orders to fill our warehouse. Buying directly from the carvers assures us that we are obtaining only quality, pure, block meerschaum. Each pipe is carefully inspected before being listed on our web site.
Our briar selection comes primarily from Italy and Germany. We receive an assorted batch from each country. Each pipe is stamped with the Paykoc Imports logo to assure affordability and quality.
Can I place orders over the phone?
Of course. If you do not want to place your credit card information in our web ordering form, feel free to call us during our regular hours of operation. You may also leave us a message at our 1-800 number and we will get back to you as soon as we are available.

1. Are your brass pepper mills made of solid brass? 1/21/10
Yes. Every pepper mill is made of solid brass. Please note the variance between sizes and grinder-handle styles. Our largest pepper mill does not have a fastened down handle.
